I have tried to resist responding to this but it really doesn't portray the situation as I see it.

Where have you been for the last two months. Just do a quick search for threads where people have complained about issue with GA or Reversebid.

We have remember that they are a much larger network than everyone else put together with the exception of Freepay so there are things that can happen that will have a much larger effect on them than any other network.

What is your point? That because they are bigger we should expect less from them?

Every company in the world always have a backlog of things to clear after christmas and with the postal strike just before it has made many mail order companys jobs even more difficult than before especially if they are handling large volumes of mail orders the knock on effect was said to add an extra 5 days to delivery over christmas and as it started on the last day that you could post for an expected delivery on xmas day it caused chaos to postal services all up and down the country. This as you can imagine caused chaos with mail order companys up and down the country.

The problems started long before Christmas and are still ongoing now. That may be a factor but isn't the only reason.

What we have to bear in mind here is that you are seeing is the knock on effect of this causing probably an unusual amount of work for the network with more people submitting more support tickets than usual, thus slowing the entire process down, then when those tickets arent answered in what people consider a timely fashion they submit more and more thus a lot of time is spent dealing with people than doing the real work of getting the goods out. As custom orders are dealt with using support tickets I would think that it would also cause futher delays with any custom orders that have been made.

The simple fact is that for reasons unknown to us GA left just one member of their team to hold the fort and they were only able to deal with basic issues. If there is a backlog, then they created it themselves.

It isnt our right to say that the network is off the ball especially in light of what is going on in the economy at the moment

So, I earn the network commission on 80 greens but am not allowed to say anthing when it takes them two and a half months to ship my share of that?

with what problems they faced before christmas with xmas and it certainly isnt as a community our right to start off a rumour that suggests that they are in financial trouble.

I am not sure exactly what you think the problems were?

Personally I think that when we needed Tab to do extra work for us he done it for us without question or fuss spending that extra time to support us in what we wanted or needed, now he needs our support and patients because of what seemingly is becming some personal difficultys or crisis that have probably compounded the knock on effect from xmas within the company how many people have done that here for him?

Just found these forums and they are superb. Have got me really worried about my quest for a ps3 on gameconsolegiveaway though! And it is crazy to see how much people have received from these freebie sites. Didn't realise it was so big.

I hope giveaway gets itself sorted soon that's for sure.

I dont disagree with you as I said in the pm. I didnt believe that this post travelling down the route of Giveaways gone bust was serving anyones best interest and I still dont, so I spoke up about it, it was never ever directed at you or your situation 10 weeks is shocking and frankly I had a really long post already done when I reread the fact it was 10 weeks I deleted it, at least 20 mins of typing down the drain because I felt you had a right to speak out . Its nothing to do with point scoring lol frankly from the stance I am taking it would lose me more points than gain me, however the thread direction of Giveaway has gone bust needed to be stopped that was my sole intention and as I said to you in the pm I will state to everyone, I also dont believe that a mass exodus from Giveaway suddenly to another network would also serve the other networks interest either based on how they get paid. It would cause them a cash flow problems suddenly within a few months and with the economy in the state it is in would serve noones interest.
My argument was never with you Furbs I think you have missed this, it was with the rumour that the network had gone bust.

As I suspected, totally out of context. In that post I was simply stating the obvious - GA has more customers so more will go on hold, it is a numbers game. That has nothing to do with the current situation.

Not sure what you are trying to say? eXceem members make up such a small percentage of GA's customers that it wont have a material effect on them. I am sure the other networks would get benefit from the extra referrals though, why wouldn't they?

This is getting us nowhere though. I'd said in my pm that I wasn't going to debate it and wished I hadn't. Everyone will make their own decision on the quality of service they are getting and choose their networks accordingly.

Possibly not but you can't possibly expect people to keep referring to GA when they have no idea what the situation is. As I'm getting tired of saying, communication would have seen any rumours put to bed and at least members would know exactly what the situation was.

That's the point I was about to make. All of this has come down to the fact that so many users were left hanging without a word from GA.

Also, for those of you who think that it's not our place to question giveaway's business situation , I beg to differ. Last time I looked this was a forum, where apparently people are allowed to share their opinions, what a crazy thought
Exceem is the one place where we should be able to openly air our views on a network's performance. Whilst we have the right to question a network's performance, the network admins have the same right to defend themselves/ explain the situation. It's not our fault that GA did not take the opportunity to let us know there were problems.
