Getting Worried


Hi Guys,

Way back when, i signed up to sonyps3giveaway.co.uk and started referring people etc. This week I signed in and it said I had 0 referrals and my own offer was not complete. I quickly realised that I had mistakenly signed in with the wrong email address. I then realised that I must have signed up to the site before I started referring friends etc.

Although I have not completed an offer on this account or referred any friends will I be OK at verification time?? I have emailed support to cancel the first account but they have told me I will be put on hold if I have multiple accounts.

Has anyone else been in this situation??

Do you think I will be OK?

Hmm, sounds like a case that should be dealt with, with common sense.

Was it Tab who answered the ticket? If not try and get him to as he's head honcho

Good luck. I had similar scenario, and was put on hold and never taken off. But to be fair I hadn;t asked for one of the accounts to be cancelled before verification.

each case is looked at on its own merit I believe

i had the same prob well a ref did i just had to get them to send a message deleating one account and so on but i donno what tabs like i am on kudos

My mother-in-law signed up but screwed up putting in my referer id. Before she completed an offer, she asked for the account to be deleted and was told it was impossible. She pleaded her case but was told no way.

Thing is she was gonna join lovefilm anyway and thought she could help me out with a referral.....

I can understand that folk shouldn't get multiple accounts at the same address, but I see no harm in an account getting deleted when it has no referrals and not even completed an offer.

She joined lovefilm anyway via the lovefilm site, so GA lost out on a referral fee and I lost out on a referral.

GA really should use their noggins a bit!!

I said exactly the same thing to the support team, not heard back yet. I have not completed an offer and I have not referred anyone. You would think that I would be ok but I will let you know when I find out....

Add to this that I am a trusted trader on a different site and that I am truely not out there to scam people I think I have a good chance..

They do, i had a similar scenario. And i was took off hold!
