I know my auction only closed 9 days ago but it's not like a freebie, i would have expected my phone to arrive a day or two after the auction closed. Disappointed now, doesn't look like I'll get it before Christmas.
Still not received the PS3 i won, 13 days and counting now... it's not as if there isn't stock of it on amazon either Was really hoping to sell it before xmas....

Rich, think you would've received an email saying that it would be sent next working day once you'd paid for the auction (i did)

Maybe it'll come today,

Ash

By the way, is there a delivery charge? How much is it or does it depend how big the item is?
Cheers

My mistake, its on the confirmation email, when you win the item:

'Once you have paid for the item it will be dispatched the next working day'

How much did you win your PS3 btw (wheretoturn)?

Just out of interest.

Like how much would you have spent overall? I think I might try this.

Sorry for the double post but could you not just bid every bid from 20p to £1.00?

yep and that would cost you between £80 - £160 and you're not guaranteed to win even with that many bids (and someone might have lowest unique of 1p say)

How much do you pay for each bid?

Like say for a ps3.

If I bid 1p it costs me 1p even if someone else bids 1p yeah? So I bid 2p and that also costs me 2p. I also bid 3p but someone else bids 3p so that costs me 3p. If I just place those 3 bids it costs me 6p?

So if I bid 1p, 2p, 3p, 4p, 5p all the way to £1.50

That'll be over £113? However, judging from the statistics it doesnt normally go for as high. Even still £113 for a PS3 is a bargain.

Am I right and its just the chance that someone bids £1.51?

you pay from 100 credits (£1) to 200 credits (£2) per bid.

I think it was 200 for a PS3 so 150 bids (1p to 150p) would cost you £300

ah I see now. So realistically they probably are making more than the item is worth I'd say.

It's worth doing one bid maybe as you might be lucky.

ayach has a spectacular aura about
There's only one live auction left on ReverseBid which sets the alarm bells ringing to me. I guess they may just be having a break over Christmas, but it seems more likely there is some sort of issue, especially considering what has already been mentioned in this thread.
