Reversebid delivery times?

This is a discussion on Reversebid delivery times? within the GiveAway Network forums, part of the Old Networks category; I don't understand where The Reversebid make their money from, the money they get from bids never covers the price ...

Presumably, they are prepared to make a loss until their customer base increases and therefore more bids will be placed...........Or am I missing something?

Only took 2 days to receive an elite i won the other week (which was good service in my opinion), but well past 10 days now since i won the ps3, so its a bit odd. Was hoping tab was going to take advantage of the special offers they have on amazon for xmas...

Except with Thereversebid, they'd see a much quicker loss.... Though the bigger items tend to get more bids, and as far as i can see, the bids placed recently on a few large items more than covers the cost.

Sorry for the double post i was just looking then about joining when i noticed you have to type in your mobile number. What do they do with this? Do they send you texts that cost you anything? Basically is it free?

Thanks

They send you a code so you can sign up. It doesn't cost or anything!

Does Tab have something to do with the running of reversebid then?

I'm also very tempted to have a crack at this bidding thing as some closed items show that the bidding stops at around 15p (so getting 1-30 would work) but others show that every number up to about 80 have been snapped up! It's all about buying a lot of credit in one go to take advantage of the bonus credits in my opinion and then using them all up on an expensive item. But to be honest it'll be a long time before i'm financially secure enough to gamble £100 in one go on what is essentially a lottery!

Anyone received their item yet? It's now been 9 days and I haven't even had an email telling me it's going to be dispatched on this date... etc.

I know my auction only closed 9 days ago but it's not like a freebie, i would have expected my phone to arrive a day or two after the auction closed. Disappointed now, doesn't look like I'll get it before Christmas.
