More than a little bit dissapointed.

You'll get over it!

To be fair tho, the three requests for help above don't seem that serious

My youngest is 18 months now! Time seems to have flown by. My eldest is 3yrs... 2 children are enough for me

You'd think it would get easy at 18 months.... If I'd had my youngest first - I doubt I'd want a second

Wouldn't change it for the world though!

I think that's just what happens when people start offering their help....others think 'ooh clearly they have lots to spare'. as kind as it was of those who offered, would probably have been better off PM'ing you about it rather than saying it in public

Just got back after a bad day at work and read this thread, I would like to post a reply to the above quote but common scene prevailed so i won't bother.

To be honest i don't want the exceem mob on my back or to get a visit from Jon and his ban hammer just for saying what i think.

It was going to be the case that people would jump on kind hearted offers from the 'Pros' of the Freebie scene!

But Fair play to everyone who offered help!

Will be adding Rep as it shows such generosity!

This always makes me think that the 'Pros' could all direct some traffic to one freebie site then the greens could be cashed out for Charity or something like that?

Or would say FreebieJeeb's not allow that?

I don't think I'd be telling any tales when I say that a lot of the "pros" are very generous with their freebies, either giving them away to friends or charging a small amount.

Charity is all well and good but you don't see the end results. Personally i feel better knowing that a friends kid(s) is going to get something that his mum/dad otherwise wouldnt be able to afford.

The "pros" don't always let on what they do with freebies because it usually leads to the usual PM's

I have recieved help, and I am always extremely grateful. But I am always wary of giving public gratitude because of the inevitable marauding!!

Once I have my ps3/ps3s I will ask the people concerned whether or not I can publically thank them, but they will know that they have my eternal gratitude in private/msn anyway!

wasnt a dig at the light hearter ones, some people seem to have made genuine requests, and if I can help any of them in any way I will try.

Sorry icks if i sort of went off on one earlier as i said bad day at the "orifice" management giving me all their work to do, so not only am i trying to run 3 departments i now have a sh*t load of paper work to do at home plus I've got to internally audit 2 other departments before next Wednesday (insert smutty joke here). They seem to think that working 10 hrs a day 5 days a week isn't enough now.

I barely have time to see my kids never mind freebie hunting these days.

Ps Any spare pendings guv i've got a wife, 3 kids and a goldfish to support
