hiya
yet again ive been put on hold by the giveaway network on iphone, basiclly many moons ago i was put on hold nextgen.giveaway, i played this one by the book so i didnt mess up, but low and behold ive been put on hold, ive sent a support ticket so ill let you know how i get on.do you get put on hold by being put on hold on diff givaway sites etc.also all my greens were trades from exceem lol

also i was just thinking is it cause i use my works pc to look at iphone. giveaway site .
just a thought also i prob have used my wifes laptop and my mums pc and maybe my childrens pc when mine is out of action lol

I don't think you can be put on hold for being on hold !!!

I'm sure there is a perfectly good reason for it.
and hopefully it will be sorted out without too many problems.

That might be the problem ....

I make sure that i only ever use my pc when using Giveaway, that way i don't run the risk of mesing up.

hopefully its my dual usage of a pc can i get taken off if i proove the dual usage of my work, my home, kids and misses laptop.
i know giveaway are one of the strictest (rightly so) but this time ive been so carefull as i know what happend wen i got 16 greens when i first ever started the freebie scene.
hopefully this will get sorted very quickly

i use LOADS of pc's to check all my freebie accounts, work, home, parents, iphone, at schools i go to work at so that shudn't matter

Surely if you got put on hold on one site already you'd stop using the network altogether wouldn't you? So if i got put on hold on Giveaway like you for a little mistake (i did a search for your old "on hold" thread) i'd quit using the network completely, you should just learn from your mistakes and go to another network in my opinion...

yeah i did i use the excellant kudos more but thought id try iphone.giveaway as i know loads use them and they r a realible one but i dont hold grudges n thought id use them 4 a iphone.the thing is i havnt done nothing wrong so cant see the problem with my account, but i will get informed i should hope by today and if they say they cant say why cause of the data protection act ill scream.

got my support ticket from tab this afternoon after he asked me to pm him the original tick i sent as it got lost etc, well apparently i have 2 accounts at my address which i find hard to take, as alot of people know from exceem that i messed my first ever giveaway site up, i know the rules now. but i cant understand were this has come from.
how do i get the name used to clone my account or how do i get this reptible site to belive me im now scammer.
this this 25 or so referrals i got them for nothing and yes im hurt.
can any one give me help how to sort this out.
im not blaming tab and co but this time i actully took care on giveaway.

absolutely gutted for you mate, 25 refs is a massive amount of greens to lose, my advice is to:

1) Just return to kudos and try and rebuild.
2) Avoid the giveaway network like the plague, you're obviously unlucky when it comes to them so just leave and never return.

I suggest that you ask Tab if he can nicely sort something out for you. Surely he can delete your "spare" account... make sure you get hold of Tab and not the other staff. I know that they have rules for a reason, etc, but in most cases I think they should be more lenient; especially if they don't want to lose their customers (and w/ 25 refs u must be a good one )

yeah the thing is i dont know were the other account came from, as after my first ever try on a network (giveaway) i messed up by getting my wife to sign up im more than careful now and have reaped the rewards. but i thought i give giveaway anmother go as they r supported.
i know they r a buisness and have to be ultra careful but im so gutted that this has happend yes its only for a £90 amazon voucher even though i thought id take 90 but i thought it was £25 a referral according to the message put 2 months or so ago for custom order.
no hard feelings but id like more explanation of whyyyyyyyyyyyyy lol
maybe it will get sorted and ill have egg on my face.
hopefully i will
night and off for a cold weekend y the sea

I do hope this gets sorted out, had this "other account" done any offers and refereed anyone? If it's empty, just a sign up surely that shows that it is some kind of error...just throwing that one out there!

All you can do is keep trying to sort things in the support tickets.

Venting your anger here won't achieve much, since the Giveaway Network won't be able to comment due to privacy laws, though I do know they don't place accounts on hold just for the fun of it, even after reviewing the situation, so you must have broke one of the t+c significantly?

Hey James,

There are another 2 accounts with the address 3 +++++++ close.
i know there busy etc but it does leave a sour taste in my mouth as ive lived here for 8 odd yrs and only have done nextgen (which i messed up) and this one (signed up only once) hopefully it will get sorted.
also im sorry for being annoyed but im gutted my hardwork has come to nothing. maybe oneday ill get something from the giveaway network if i dont from this misunderstanding.

I really doubt they'd take you off hold. One of my accounts was put on hold a few months ago. I got 12 referrals and lost one referral during verification. So I got a couple more, and the verification that took place two weeks after that, Giveaway put my account hold. They told me it was because of multiple accounts, gave me the e-mail and all. I asked if the spare account could be deleted as it wasn't one of my referrals and I doubt any offer had been done and they said they won't since they don't make any exceptions.

And I haven't gone back to Giveaway ever since.
