What's going on tab/giveaway?

I know giveaway normally take 1 - 3 days to answer support tickets, but i've sent a few and none of them have been replied to for longer than usual!

The problem is, giveaway say on the order page (i've ordered my ps3 80gb) that all ps3s ordered on the 18th of august would be delivered on the 27th. (wednesday) Now, i ordered midday on august the 19th. (just several hours short!) and my question was if it was possible to squeeze my order in and get it delivered for the 27th like the others.

It's just important information because i'd like to know what day it's coming to i can have someone in or stay in myself or leave a note on the door etc.

Anyway, is anyone else in this sitation? it would be great if tab was around, but it seems he's not been on for a while.

It's a bank holiday weekend. Probably on Holiday.

I think he said delivery might be delayed a day or two anyway so that he can get the 80gb ones out.

oh yeah forgot. It's not a ban holiday in Scotland

but i suppose we have bank holidays when you don't aswell.

But do giveaway not operate at the weekend?

I was in the same situation before; I had missed the order deadline by a couple of hours. Lisa did eventually reply to my ticket saying she'll see what she can do, but then I never heard back & my bracelet didn't turn up on delivery date. Tab did sort it out when I queried it via exceem though

yea, i got a reply from lisa the day i ordered. She said she'd look into it for me. No reply.

as others have said its a bank holiday, network owners (like everyone else) do deserve some time off

Been told that i'll be notified of the delivery date shortly! Hope shortly doesn't mean in several days.

Maybe it because they need to find out themselves, before they can tell you.

yeah, but shortly is like within an hour. And m8, the ps3 is "supposed" to be coming tomorrow! (thats what it said on the site.!) i need to know!

When it comes to giveaway and support tickets 'shortly' is more like within a week!

Shortly is a meaningless term. I would say shortly in this context is a couple of days but they simply may not have the answer yet.

I would be surprised if it came tomorrow. I am expecting Thursday or possibly Friday.

thanks, yeah i did hear that tab would be pushing back delivery due to bank holiday and orders as such, but i'd like to have confirmation.

Also, anyone know if giveaways ordering from amazon?
