How does verification work?

Hi Guys,

I signed up for minimacgiveaway a while back and hopefully will have a free mac in the next few months (convincing people to sign up is a lot harder than it sounds!)

A few of the people have completed their offers - they sign into their accounts and it says "You have completed your offer". Should this now show up as a green on my account or am I missing something? I submitted a ticket but just want to check I've not misunderstood anything.

Cheers,

John

Yeh when your referrals sign up for you, they should be in your list of referrals which I think is on your status page. It'll say whether or not they've completed an offer next to their email addresses.

Re: How does verification work?

Hi Praj07,

this is what I thought. I can see the people who have signed up using my referral link and when they sign up on their accounts it tells them that they have completed their offer but on my status page is stills says pending.

They completed their offers back in June. I had another guy sign up about 3 weeks ago and he was confirmed quite quickly. It would appear the others are stuck some how?

I have raised a ticket to see if there is a problem. Any idea how long it takes from a ticket being raised to getting a reply?

Regards,

John.

I think on giveaway around 2 days.

Bit of an odd problem you just described, I'm sure they'll sort it out for you, good luck!

Remember, some offers take longer to change to completed than others, also, they can take long to confirm if they haven't tracked so that may be why they are showing as pending.

Re: How does verification work?

Hi,

got my reply from support today but it did not really answer my question. They say that it can take X amount of days for an offer to complete and once this is done then it should automatically update my account. It also said it is up the the user to contact them to sort it out.

This is not really good for me for 2 reasons. I need to pester the people who I referred and ask them to contact support......etc. The other reason being that their accounts says they have completed their offers so why would they care whether it was linked back to me. Surely this is my problem and not the referred users?

Cheers,

John.

Re: How does verification work?

can you actually see these people on your status page as "offer not completed" as it sounds to me that they may not have used your link and if you say they completed offers and it shows up on their account as "offer completed" that might be your problem???

You only get your green when your referred person has received offer credit. Therefore you are unable to chase offer credit for any of your referals, as they often ask for screen shots etc to prove they have actually completed an offer, which you wont be able to supply....

Re: How does verification work?

Hi,

thanks for the replies.

Yes, the people are on my 'Account Status' page as pending. They have been stuck at pending since June. I asked them to log in and check their accounts and once they login they see "You have completed your offer successfully!".

I got some of them to send me screenshots just to verify they were correct and it appears they are.

John.
