They will be locked so you have to sign upto an O2 contract to use it. They can be unlocked though!

Is this comfirmed now, has Tab said this? Because you can't get the iphone 3g without taking out a contract right? So how can he get them without one? Oh i soo hope they come locked with no contract. Then can we put any sim in them? Thanks.

People keep asking this... i'm just saying what Tab has already said. He's not gonna hand out PAYG iPhones for 5 referrals!

Same situation with me the_icks, Am just praying that tab may be able to do a deal with apple/o2 on a Sim only type Top up contract (e.g. the phones locked to o2 and you must top up like 30 squid a month)

If Tab reads this, is there any chance of updating the iphone and refs on iStuff? It still shows the old iPhone and old ref rates, would be really useful with the ratios if it could be changed?
