I mesaged some one who was selling one for an auction and asked them if I could just buy it for the RRP price in belgium, which is 615 Euro. They sell it at a shop called Mobistar, but I dont think that it is possible to buy them off the internet from them, as we are in the UK. Not sure if they have much stock either. But as they are sim free and unlocked they are more expensive. I think the 8GB is about 520 Euro and the 16GB 615 Euro. Could pop on the Eurostar I suppose lol. |

| Re: New iPhone added...You cant get hold of an iphone 3g in the uk without signing a contract. The only way to get one without a contract is from ebay and they are also expensive. |

| Re: New iPhone added...I am a bit concerned, I have my referrals and have gone for verification, but from what I have read is that I will not be able to get my iPhone without having the contract in place first. I am fine with going to the apple store with my voucher and picking one up as we have one in Sheffield, but I will not be using it on contract  . I read that staff in the apple store wont let them leave without a contract in place, why would that matter to the apple store, they just sell the handset ? Is this true ? |

| Re: New iPhone added...answerd this for you before, you will not get an iphone. you get a voucher from iphone.giveaway and then you take that to apple and they will let you spend the voucher instore on anything, if you want the iphone then its a contract or nothing.

 | Re: New iPhone added...Apple and o2 have a business agreement meaning that the iphone can only be used on the o2 network. Part of that agreement must be that o2 can decide if the iphones can go out without a contract or not.
