I can't believe it, my PS3 account has been put on hold

I thought that one of the people I had asked to sign up for me broke the rules so I brought it to their attention and owned up to it so that I could avoid trouble during verification. I am more than willing to get the guy to delete his account too. But in the support ticket they said the account had been put on hold and was now 'void'.

Does anyone know if it is likely that accounts can get taken off hold? I'm so close to getting all my referrals, had them lined up for the weekend, and this is my first freebie too, its a nightmare. so much hard work could be for nothing.

im on my way to a first freebie too, it seemed such a big struggle for some reason o.O offers weren't tracking properly, getting scammed... just have to have lots of patience~

It looke like 2 greens have been taken of your account - raise a support ticket to see if you are allowed to make the greens up!

A-Rob - I had a similar problem, and after speaking with the FJ Support people, they removed the account that was the problem.

Once you get all the parties to raise a support ticket - they'll hopefully help you.

thanks beaufort, thats a bit of a reassurance. Its so frustrating because its not like I was trying to con them, its a genuine mistake. I've raised a support ticket, hopefulyl giveaway work in the same way FJ did for you.

looking at your ps3 giveaway banner - i thought you only had 7 greens (but require 10) - just to clarify was the account put on hold regarding a previous support ticket you sent - if so your best bet is to raise a new ticket so that the 'dodgy' culprit account can be removed.

Yeah I sent the support ticket to them maybe Monday, only just got the reply today. So should i raise a new one and explain the situation then ask for the guy's account to be deleted? And then I need to get him to send one himself to ask for his account to be deleted?

Yeah get the other guy to send a support ticket in asking for his account to be deleted. That's what I did and it got be off hold!

freebie company's dont normally put people on hold because of one of their sign ups. Usually people get put on hold because of something that they themselves have done.

In what way did this person break the rules as you didnt say? Maybe that would make it easier for us to give advice.

Well i signed up on the same wireless network as one of my sign ups, not at the same time but we used the same wireless network. I checked the IPs beforehand and they were different so that seemed ok to me. I used my home address and he used his, which were different. I didnt realise that the network would have the same IP address externally if you see what I mean. If I had done I would never have asked him to do it.

you really need to raise a support ticket to find out the reason why you have been put on hold then taki it from there

Well theres your problem.

If you were unsure, why wait untill u get 7 greens. I would have messaged the site explaining the details. If they were happy i would have then proceeded to gain greens.

Surely its better than waiting to get 10 greens before I teel them? I could have not told them at all but I did as I wasnt sure if it was ok.

It's against the rules I know but it's a genuine mistake.

What if the person in question was the 7th person!? I think it's just unfortunate and lets hope that Giveaway help him out by letting him off with a stern warning! It looks to be a mistake, nto a case of cheating the system.

I can see you be okay to be honest mate. IP conflicts are a big no no, but you've been quite open about it, so I can't see you trying to cheat the system really.
