Giveaway network been dumped?

This forum seems very inactive

Has everyone given up on giveaway?

The referral "costs" seem very high and haven't come down. Have they pretty much cut and run now or are people getting stuff?

Does the owner come here?

Re: Giveaway network been dumped?

giveaway are slow to update but then they are the biggest UK network so it does take a while to update.

The referal rates may be the higest about but they have some great offers that compensate this. Its not always about the lowest number of refferals that counts!

And no I dont think the owner comes here.

They need to start hiring more staff to get the job done faster and live up to the reputation of 'best in UK'

Re: Giveaway network been dumped?

The green rates are so high. Twice as many greens for a video iPod than gratis

Especially annoying since I have 4 greens on ipodgiveaway. That'd be one away if it were on gratis. I don't want to waste 4 greens, but it'd take a lot of trading to get 6 more

Admins, site officials! Lower your rates! Compete with those feelthy Americans!

We seriously need to think about writing to trading standards...

It is disgusting that we should have to wait this long for updates...

Re: Giveaway network been dumped?

I don't know about the network being dumped, but my support is gradually dwindling as my order on ‘Sent to vendor’ is taking for ever (minimacgiveaway). I was informed that it was only going to take about 14 days, but have been waiting 3 or 4 weeks now. Logged a support ticket, but no reply.
However perhaps I’m being a little too harsh, I’ve had no trouble gaining referrals, and validating them, and most of my support tickets have been answered quickly. As others have said, they are the largest network, which some of the ‘time-scale’ could be due to.
Come on Giveaway, before we all lose faith!

STV took about 7 weeks to change to shipped for me. That was 7 days ago. I reckon the PSP2 will be released before this one shows up.

Personally I don't care how big a network is... if they say "14 days" then it should be 14 days. If they say "3 years" then I'd expect it to be 3 years. If they can't stick to their timescales then they should change the published timescales to match their capabilities.

I guess it was probably acceptable when the choice of free sites was limited but now when there are more sites requiring less referrals with quicker response times they're just going to end up losing business (and therefore money). I don't think they have a rep coming on here so my mini-rant won't make any impact... but that's just another sign of a company that's got too big to care about it's customers.

I don't think there's room in the freebie market any more for companies to say "look we're doing you a big favour giving you the chance to get a free item so we've got the right to treat you like sh*te"... they've got to increase their customer service or people won't choose to use them.

Cheers,
Tez.
PS: I'm starting to get pissed with ipods.freepay for not following their timescales. They say 2 weeks for approval, but it took them 3 weeks to approve me. They say 2 weeks for processing, but it's already been over 2 weeks... why can't they stick to what they say? I'm not even wanting a rare nano... I just want an iPod!

Re: Giveaway network been dumped?

I am still waiting to be credited for a green I did in October. They told me it would take ten working days instead of five due to a heavy workload. Its now been well over 10 days and I havnt had a reply to the latest messages I have sent. I don't feel confident...

Who actually represents the Giveaway network here? With Loki Cola browsing these forums, I feel quite confident with the Grab Network. Yet I don't seem to hear much from the Giveaway guys.....?

Lol this network sucks ass, lets remove them from exceem as they are as slow as a family of turtles with 3 legs between them on a zimma frames walking on a 20mph running machine!

There so slow, pluto is doing a complete orbit before they send out gifts!! Oh even better - This network is so slow, there going backwards!!

Tab is a regular poster over at UKCongas, not that it's doing much good as he's taking just as much of a hammering there, but at least he's responding which is a good sign!

I didn't realise Grab and Exceem were so tight these days, sponsering the awards and everything! Site's looking good guys, how are things over here?!

Si

PS Who the hell let h2w back in?!? lol
