Yellows to greens....Newbie put off!!!

I have had three yellows (only need two greens!!) for the past week and have sent a support ticket to Giveaway with which the reply was that the refered account holder would have to get in contact - I now realise that fate plays a part in actualy getting these greens!! dependant on Tracking issues etc. Now as a newbie im quite put off by this - any suggestions on getting movement on this - alot of the referals i have got are via trades and some are reluctant of going through the process of proving acount details etc just to satify *my* green - im lost!!!

As far as i'm concerned if someone you've traded with isn't willing to go through a process of proving their account details then they are a scammer who has got a green from you and is running away laughing!

I would leave bad feeback for them and warn others against trading with them.

Anyone who is on here trading should know well enough about tracking issues and that they must clear their cookies and such before completeing and offer, just to be safe.

I think you've been unlucky with who you've traded with to be honest

If you have done a trade with someone, they should understand more than a total stranger that support tickets have to be sent from them, and not you. They will also know that this is the process on all networks, not just giveaway.

It's a bugger having to do tickets and send details to prove you/they have done an item but the site needs proof before contacting sites like Lovefilm and coral. If an offer hasnt tracked, the site wont get paid either, so they cant be expected to just pay out to those that havent done the offer properly or had tracking problems.

Thanks guys - its just so fustrating knowing you have just 3 pending and only need 2 to go green!!! I have to learn to be patient i guess. Do you think its a bad omen when the person you have traded with is not excepting PM`s? Do i report any of this to a MOD on this forum - Thanks again guys

The person you tried to PM was posting today but he/she may have had PM's turned off since they joined.

If they have done trades with you, they should be willing to give giveaway any details that are requested.

if you have a problem with trades/traders on exceem please post in the trades support forum .. but maybe give them a few days to respond first

Is anyone finding the yellow to green ratio on giveaway aint good lately?

Maybe it's just me but i've went 43 yellows without a green!!

Gonna try emailing all my yellows... only need one for a PS3 that i'm gonna keep for a change. But 43 yellows is pretty bad!!

think they could do with a fresh new look tbh, i placed all my links to the iphone site and in 2 days not 1 yellow so moved em all back to FJ.

That's totally different from my experience.

I personally love the GA designs ,particularly the new offers pages. I typically get 2 to 3 greens/pendings a day if I refer to iPhone.GA and 1 to 2 a day on Nextgen.GA

Ratios are between 1 in 10 and 1 in 15 on iPhone, more for Nextgen.

furbs am i right in thinking if u refer usa signups u need a dif url for the giveaway site?
might try pointing my .com there to see how it goes if the above is right.

Sounds right but I haven't tried, try to direct USA/Canada elsewhere if I can.

on giveaway you cant refer usa peeps , they can sign up under the usa version but wont count as referrals as far as i understand it anyway.
