Server Downtime...

Hey all,

The Hard Disk is failing on one of our servers and it needs to be replaced. I'll be taking the server offline shortly this afternoon and some of our sites will not be working during the replacement. These are:

SonyPS3Giveaway
360Giveaway
IpodNanoGiveaway
Wii.Giveaway.co.uk
NextGen.Giveaway.co.uk
HDTV.Giveaway.co.uk
PC.Giveaway.co.uk
iStuff.Giveaway.co.uk
iPhone.Giveaway.co.uk

We'll be getting the server back asap, sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

bit iff subject Tab, but i just have one of my lovefilm pendings go green, but non on other site?? is the report in ? as we are all waiting for it before Monday's verification and one of my own offers still has not gone through

Report is in, we have updated the sites not on the server with the HD issues. As soon as the HD is replaced and the server is up and working again, we will process the report on those sites.

I think we should get a free green on each of those sites we are working on to make up for the greens that we (obviously) would have gotten when offline!

Yes I totally agree. Tab should compensate us for our losses. I get about 1green/minute so take your time Tab.

lol, its nice to get advanced warning!!! perhaps my ipods green that went on hold was just a glitch on the harddrive!!!

Thanks for the heads up Tab.

On a similar subject, what do you know about crediting on BetHilo - I'm over the 5 working days on that and deliberately lost all my money just to make sure it completed ok (had nothing to do with my gambling skills).

Would love to get it credited before Monday

The actual hardware swap will take 10-20 mins, then there is the additional time needed to setup the harddrive, which will vary depending on how Tab has things setup, and while the server is offline its a good time to make a few software updates/patchs to the operating system to! At most id say expect downtime of 3 hours.
