![]() | not happy about the number of yellows not turning greenyeah so basically with verification this weekend i'm pretty keen to get my 13 referrals in time, but some of my perfectly valid referrals look like they're just gonna stay yellow forever. at the moment i've been credited with 11, but there are three other friends of mine who have signed up and completed an offer, yet it looks like the site is basically just ignoring them, meaning in actual fact i will have referred 16 people by the time i'm eligible for a ps3. 2 of the offers were completed over two weeks ago (the other one on sunday), so it's not like it's less than the 5 days max that it claims it'll update by. 2 of the offers have been made with coral (like the vast majority of my referrals, most of which turned green pretty quickly), and the other was made with fasthosts. before people moan, i did use the support ticket thing, and was told that the people themselves would have to email the support. this is all very well in theory, but they weren't expecting to have to go to the hassle of getting screenshots and forwarding confirmations etc, so that's not going to happen. that said, one of them did email a few days ago but hasn't had it sorted yet. just wanted to vent. 13 referrals should mean 13 referrals. not 16. |

![]() | Re: not happy about the number of yellows not turning greenand now i'm gonna have to get a 17th referral, as one of mine has been put 'on hold' because for whatever reason my mate signed up to the site twice, but only did the offer once. so even though he's completed an offer, and nobody has tried to cheat the system, i now only have 12 of my 13 referrals awarded. |

Yes its a pain that your friends have to raise support tickets, but contrary to your belief, its not Giveaway's fault that offers don't credit.... its the individual, or the individual's computer settings |

![]() | Re: not happy about the number of yellows not turning greentbh i don't know why he signed up with two (very similar - maybe he typed in the wrong address first time?) email accounts - he's not even going for the ps3, just did it for me as a favour, but seein' as only one of the accounts has been used i reckon it'd be fairly obvious to the manual checker that nobody was trying to abuse the system. just frustrating, that's all. giveaway basically just using an honest mistake as an excuse for not honouring a referral. just makes it harder for me to persuade any sceptical friends of mine that the site is legit, which i'm sure it is. |

| Free The Gadgets | Re: not happy about the number of yellows not turning greenAll you can do is get your friends to raise support tickets otherwise there's nothing giveaway can do! It's very clear in the T&Cs that you can't sign up twice to any site. Giveaway aren't to know it was a mistake so it makes sense for them to put your friend on hold. If they didn't then scammers would be doing it. A support ticket should sort it out if your lucky!
