40GB PS3 added...

Just a quick post to let you know we have added the 40GB PS3 to the Playstation site and the NextGen site for just 10 referrals.

Apart from losing backward compatibility what is the difference between the 40GB and 60GB? (apart from the storage size of course)

I've read a few rumours on the web so just want to make sure!

40gb PS3 comes with NO EXTRAS and is priced £299

60gb PS3 comes with 2 games, extra controller, backwards compatibility and only £349.

If people are buying this, why would they not pay the extra £50 for the 2 games and controller?

So anyway to answer q above, the 40gb one does not come with extras and resale value will be crappy.

yeah, the 60 gig version seems the much better deal

consider how much the controllers are and how much games are, 50 on quid extra is a steal

and your gettting extra 20 gig hd space to top it off

Is that right? That's stupid, because 1 PS3 game is around £50 anyway (from what i can tell at least) so Sony must think people are really stupid!

But Matkavs said it is either £299 or £349, and when you consider you have to buy at least one £50 game with the £299 package, well you don't need to be a genius to work that one out!

well not rly when the games are 39.99 from play. but u jus gotta look at it as if yer the 399 is much more value for money but if u cant afford it then 299 makes more sense.

They have to try something too get the PS3 on track
