Question about Giveaway delivery dates.

Hi all.

I was just wondering what GA mean by the delivery date being this Friday?

Are they sent out on that date or do we receive them on Friday?

If they are sent on Friday, how long do they take usually to deliver?

they send them out on thursday and use next day delivery, so u should recieve it on friday.

Yep, first freebie, but I should be able to complete FJ and Kudos in 2-3 weeks, so it's looking good as I only started on this whole thing a month ago.

I'm getting a 360 plus Bioshock off Nextgen, don't know much about games but I have read the reviews on it and they do seem absurdly good. So, all in all I can't wait to play it, plus Lovefilm are sending out a few games as well, so that should keep me busy...

My advice is just bloody-mindedly stick to one site until it's completed. I've no idea how I managed to complete Nextgen so quickly given everyone is already signed up to it, lucky I suppose.

If you're having trouble convincing friends-family etc, maybe try and get a small gift just to show them, like a shuffle (there is a site that does it for two referrals).

yehh tried that on apple.fj, problem is the referrals for a shuffle are 3 and iv got 2!!! if i worked on a site that only needed 2 i would have had it by now!!

Pretty sure it's Citylink. If you're out they usually leave a card and you can rearrange delivery with Citylink (maybe to your work address?) or pick it up from their depot, or sometimes they will leave it with a neighbour. I don't think they do an Amazon/royal mail and leave it round the back but i could be wrong.

I asked Giveaway if the PS3 could be left with my neighbour if I'm out, they said that they will ask the dispatch department but could not guarantee that the courier would get the instruction with the parcel. Hope I don't miss the delivery (only because I'm too lazy to go down to the CityLink depot myself!)

i guess it depends on where you are on their rounds, would be good if GA gave you a tracking number so you could find it with citylink though....

I'm soo soo jealous of all these people getting PS3s and Xboxs delivered on Friday. I've had 8/13 greens and 6 pending lovefilms on nextgen giveaway for over a week now and i'm so impatient, never mind i'll have to wait til the end of September anyway for my PS3 now, can't wait!!
