New site - iPhone.Giveaway.co.uk
Hi Folks,

We have just launched our new site iPhone.Giveaway.co.uk, giving away the new Apple iPhone for just 12 refs (pre-order). We are aware that the phone will be contract only when launched, but we are confident we can obtain the iPhone from our distributor. It will still be locked to a network and require a contract with that network to function however.

Any questions please let me know.

Just out of curiosity what happens if your distributor lets you down or we don't want a contract?? Will we still get the phone but need to unlock it ourselves??

The iPhone is only going to be available on contract, no-one has successfully unlocked the iPhone yet. Also the iPhone has many features that are reliant on the network, such as video voice mails.

So if we get the refs we have to get the contract as well? Any chance of cash if we can't afford a contract?? Or transferring to some random i sell it to on EBay??!!

Still not sure what versions are gonna be released in the UK. It will be the lower end model with giveaway, although by the look of the rumors that may well be the 8GB model.

So you give away a free iPhone... Thats great... Just we have to pay the contract...

How much will that be per month?

They will only offer it with their top end tariffs to get people paying more.

I'm thinking of signing up but I have a few questions first. You get the iphone for free but will this be tied to a particular network, or will it be available on all networks? (it's just I only get a signal with Orange where i live! ) and can i use my current mobile contract or will I have to take out a new one?

im pretty sure it will be locked to o2 so any pay n go or contract sim would work am i right?
