Hi Tab

Do you think we could be sent the same value through PayPal instead of an Amazon Voucher?

The costs are all at our end so it would be the same price for you...

This would be great but it's against Paypals T&C for freebie sites to do this (even though some do). I think it would have to be a one off really.

Problem with a Bank Transfer is the waiting for it to clear, even longer when its a bank holiday (like next week). At least a voucher could be sent and used instantly. If i chose this option I'd probably be glued to Amazon next week, refreshing like mad as I'm on holiday and want the Wii, not the money.

This may seem harsh but I think people asking for a cash alternative are out of line a bit. You signed up for a Wii, regardless of whether you were going to keep it or sell it, that's what you signed up for. Giveaway are saying that due to the shortage they will offer you a voucher with which you can purchase a Wii (what you signed up to get in the first place), I really don't see the problem.

i agree, i think an Amazon voucher is very fair. If you want a Wii you can always buy something of Amazon and sell it on Ebay then go and buy one from a store (my friend works in Game in Bradford and he says they've got loads of the buggers) or wait ages for giveaway to get them. and if you dont want a Wii you can just use the voucher to buy something else

That is all fair enough ! BUT... what if Amazon doesn't have them in stock either. It's a bit frustrating seeing all those other places like Game and Gamestation or even Argos having them in stock, and we're not being able to buy the consoles, because we've only got an Amazon Voucher.

And its no extra work for GA to give out a cash alternative rather than an Amazon voucher, I see no reason why thats out of line.

I'm just thankful that we wont have to wait for Giveaway to get stock.

If Amazon have Wiis then even better. If not, I will just buy something that I can resell on eBay to get my £180 or thereabouts.
