Giveaway network imho is second to non for support other sites seem (in my experience) slow at responding to tickets etc just prefer a network were I know i will be looked after. Harvez

Although GA do have many plus points, dont get me wrong, there support system is defo not one. |

IMHO means "in my honest opinion" which refers to my experience. other networks from YOUR experience may seem better. from your post i would think you have a problem with giveaway? Harvez

that is my experience... tbh once resolved I find the sites very good... but both times I have had to apply for manual credits for greens and the 'stock' responses seemingly cut and pasted (or maybe brainwashed) do not help at all!!

Its like comparing your small local grocer, who will happily throw in a couple of extra tomatoes because you're a regular.... to someone like Wal-Mart. It doesn't make sense. If you are happy with your local 'cause of that little extra you get then thats fine, but trying to make comparisons between such disparate entities is crazy. I've said it before, but i'll say it again.... stock answers to regularly asked questions is the only way to deal with thousands of daily queries. Not only does it weed out the timewasters, thousands of them, but it also helps the vast majority of users. Leaving a very few that need to be dealt with individually. I challenge you to find any other large company that does thing differently. When you reach a large size that individual touch becomes a perk rather than the norm. I do try and offer that personal touch by being here frequently and keeping people informed on this forum, however this forum is less than 1% of my userbase, so you can appreciate and understand that it is not always possible. Thanks for reading this rant.. Hope it has helped in some small way. I realise that I could have left this thread without commenting, but I do take these comments people make about my business to heart. I have worked hard to get this business to where it is, and am proud of what I have accomplished over these 2 years. (A little emotional)Tab | |

I just wanted to clarify my point.. even the non automated responses are very automated sounding!! You do seem a decent bloke (now I have established you are not infact Tabitha or Tabasco), but read my support tickets and you will see just how frustrated I became.. (verging on bipolar to quote your opinion of me) It is only through perseverence and determination I achieved my JackpotJoy green... you say the automated responses are to deter timewasters, I would say that they possibly deter new signups as well who are not aware of how thse things work. You undoubtedly have a very successful business, nobody can ever take that away from you.. and it does appear you are often emulated/imitated but I do feel my poiint was valid, but thank you for your counterpoint.

I dont think its a case of people taking things personally, more a case of needing to redress the balance... we all have preferred sites... but to pontificate them at the drop of a hat.. you look silly when 6 posts later you are singing the praises of a different site at the expense of the site you were just 'bigging up' (apologies for using 'pontificate' and 'bigging up' in the same sentence but my polarity switched from Steven Fry to Ali G half way through typing!)

I would cerainly be interested to see the feedback on that. I am a big fan of the Giveaway network. Your websites are top dollar (good enough to convince even a cynic like me to sign up), referrals seem to come fairly easily at reasonable rates and above all, you have sent me my one and only freebie to date! Support is clearly something that needs improvement though. Weeding out timewasters is one thing but things appear to fall down at the "passed to technical team stage". I acknowledge what you say about the size of the organisation but that goes with the territory. Making comparisons with other large businesses really doesn't help the cause; from my experience the bigger they are, the worse their customer service becomes. At the end of the day, achievable or not, we all expect personal service. eXCeem may only be 1% of the current user base, but how much of the other 99% has the community created? I guess that is why you are good enough to come and post, which is much appreciated.
