Max yellow limit on IpodShuffleGiveaway?

Hey, i set up an account with the Ipod Shuffle giveaway site and in the first day i got 5 yellows, now my offer has been marked as completed i have been using loads of methods to get my refferal link out there but i have not got one single yellow. I am certain that some people have signed up via my refferal link so i was just wondering is there any possible way that my refferal link has been "broken" or is there a limit or anyhing?

there is no limit to yellows are you sure you didnt miss a number off or type it incorrectly or something like that

Well i copied and pasted it so it is exactly correct - i am starting to think maybe they have blocked refferals so i dont get my free Ipod

Chances are that people are simply seeing your referral number at the end of your link and deleting it, to sign up without signing up under you. A bit mean I know but people generally don't seem to like being referred.

yeah that's what I don't like about most of the people.. I mean it doesn't really matter for them whether they sign up under our referral link or not. Plus we sort of did a favour for them by showing them the site - if you know what I mean.

@TomG if the link is on your website you could try clocking the URL, but doubt it would work too well with the giveaway network, as they've got a tick box when you sign up saying "do you want be referred by whoever"

And there are some MEAN people who would untick this box :P

Yeah i just found it strange how i managed to get 5 refferals in the space of 1 hour and for the last few days i havent got one and i have been trying even harder than i did when i got 5.

Try using a domain name of your own to forward to your link. The tickbox is only implemented on the 360 site at the minute so it wouldn't be that.

If Tab is there could you tell me if i am allowed to mask the url so people cannot see that it is a refferal link?

I'd say so long as you don't receive referrals by deception you should be ok. I can't actually find anything in the terms and conditions regarding spamming or gaining referrals by deception.

OK - i know for certain that someone signed up via my refferal link (we organised a trade) and i cannot see their yellow although they can see mine, Tab can you look into this? Do the yellows get added instantly?
Im getting concerned.

I used the referral link and signed up but it says on "My account" that I wasn't referred by anyone.

I have raised a support query but us there any other way of getting this fixed?

Just a thought. Could it because I use Firefox as a browser?

I use firefox and i signed up to your 360 ref link and it worked fine.
I am totally gutted - ive been working my ass of getting my link out there recently and now i discover that even if people did click it i havent been credited at all.
