im trying to help out my mom with some money, my greatgrandfather has recently passed, and i need help making money so my mom can go to the philippines,

Um well that's sad news. All the sites can be used to get money instead of gifts, like KUDOS or freebiejeebies.

But you shouldn't rely on it, especially for 'quick' money. Takes time to get going. More 'traditional' methods might be better (i.e. job, or sell some stuff).

Sorry for the sad news again.

As MrPlow said.. Your best bet to get 'quick cash' would be to use the old fashioned methods... Use money from work, sell things, offer services etc...
