How did you first find out about your freebie site?

This is both a tip and a question. One way to get referrals is to think back to how you found your freebie site. Mine was YouTube, so I put a YouTube video up. Also, would you mind sharing how you found your freebie site.

I first found out about freebie sites back in early 2009. I was searching for cheap 360's and I came across someones site, can't remember who's but I think it was furbs.

It was a high ranking site which had pictures of a girl holding a 360 afaik. After thinking about it and doing some research I went back to the freebiejeebies homepage and signed up to it.

I then got bored as none of my friends thought it was legit so I asked for my accounts to be closed (I regret that now as I want to sign back up to FJ, but alas I cannot do it due to risk of my new account getting put on hold, but if I was ever given the chance to sign back up I would ^_^). I'm now on gadgets.kudosnetwork, been at it for 6 months and nothing

I honestly couldn't remember. Back in 2005 when i found a site called freeiPods.com with the Gratis network. They soon turned into the Freepay network... Before calling it a day

But i signed up and it went from there. 5 referrals for an iPod Video 30GB (When they were all the rage :P)

and 5 referrals on nanos.freepay.com (same company) And got an iPod Nano 4GB

whoa after reading this I got a bit discouraged =( would you people suggest to back out before I waste time into it ? I want to try my butt off for a Mac and have no idea what the red or green deal about can anyone explain?

dont go for big items at first. go for ipod or something small then when it arrives you can show proof to your friends. get them all to join next time round when your wanting a mac

As sgll said, going for big gifts such as a macbook or PS3 as your first freebie can be a bit daunting, so why not go for something smaller such as a iPod shuffle which is only 2 greens.

You can easily earn those 2 greens by signing up to one of the numerous congas on here.
