Back from the dead

Kinda interested to see what my 'registered' date says on the left here...
Anyway I used to play this game, got myself a nice iPod (when they were big) and a PSP back in the day.
Interested in giving it another go. I don't want to sign up anywhere before I have a good read of the forums, maybe helpful people could make a few suggestions about sites / gifts / offers to get me back up to speed...

Welcome back! 2005, quite a veteran!

Well the top sites these days are FreebieJeebies, Kudos and Xpango. There are congas running for all of them (so you can get 2 greens for 1 by signing up)

I think most people find the "Apple" and "Gifts or Gadgets" sub sites are the most popular, though there are plenty of people using the other subsite. Lots of offers to choose from, just pick which you prefer!

Any other questions just ask or search on the forum!

Kudos is fantastic. Lee is very fast with support, it's well laid out, looks beautiful and has a nice load of offers... however I still find that FJ has a slightly higher conversion rate.

You will probably notice though that conversion rates have massively decreased generally.

Actually I did update my sig, I left those for 'posterity'! I had all my 'uncomplete' schemes in there too, including some far less reputable sites.
Actually freeclickz was pretty good to me, I'm certain I got more than 'just' the PSP, but I can't quite remember what. I think the PSP is the only item I still have, others were either gifted on to family members or friends or broke haha.

I guess the internet has become more cynical about such things, also I see that the 'recruiting' sites in various peoples' signatures have become far more sophisticated looking! I had a pretty piss-poor (can I say that...) site back in the day but it did the job.

Freepay was pretty much the pioneer of this stuff, wasn't it? I wonder what those people are doing now. Senators?

I remember I started with FreePay, great referral rates! They said a while back they were just going to redesign the site and come back... that was years ago though!

Yea I think the freebie scene has been hit by endless sceptics, mainly people who have tried to trick the system and been banned so they just moan about it. Recently though the system has been hit by massive fraud... it meant we lost the Lovefilm Free Trial offer, the Intuit Free Trial Offer and endless other brilliant offers

Has meant converting reds to greens has been a struggle. Having a decent website is now one of the requirements unfortunately!

i.e. if you complete something, can you start again ?

FJ and Kudos allow you to just reset and continue. Means you just do 1 offer and get as many freebies as you like!
