Someone block bidded until £1.12 so even if you had bidded 55p the other dude would have won it for 56p instead.

You wern't that close to winning, don't waste your money on LBT. People just block bid all the time.

i was gonna buy some credits on LBT last night to bid on a mac book, but i looked at the recently closed auctions first and noticed that the same user has won 8 out of the last 10 auctions... He must be block-bidding on nearly every item. I think there should be a limit on the number of times you can bid on each auction to give everyone a fair chance.

yeah i agree with that.....but at the end of the day the website still gets paid for every bid so they have no reason to put a block on it

I understand that, but its not a good advert for potential bidders to see the same guy winning nearly everything. dont get me wrong though, i think lbt is a great site with some truly mega prizes. i just think a bid limit on each auction would encourage more people to purchase bids, knowing they would have a real chance of winning.

Prob spending thousands but if it pays off then all good!! On a macbook you could prob spend £500-£700 on block-bidding and still make a nice little profit

Thats exactly what Paul does, he'd spend £100 credits and block bids on the iPod Nano (to give himself the best chance) and wins £110.

not really strange, because he'll still be making a profit. Maybe not so much on the nano, but on an apple mac worth £899, if he spends £400 - £500 on bids, hes still gonna make a ton of profit.

Its understandable why you would think like that Genesis its either something fishy or these guys are good at what they do, maybe too good thats why people are asking for limitations on the amount of prizes

Well if Paul takes so many risks to win a auction, sometimes the procedure can't work so well and loose the auction, and don´t forget that i was winning 1 sec to close the auction, was really close...

strange things happen these days...

Gary won this auction:
Code:
http://www.littlebidtasty.com/bidnow.php?page=bidNow&aid=1680
obviously he placed bids from 0,01 to 2,30Ł , that makes 230 bids = 230 bids per 250 credits = 57500 credits, thats 100Ł per 10000 credits (if it is not your first deposit) = 575Ł

he spent 575 pounds for item worth 500Ł, that's really strange, and it's not a first time I saw this....
