![]() | Lockerz alternatives: Better, about the same, or worse?Ay up again! Following the Recent discussions about Lockerz and how much of a ripoff it is, I took a peek at MarioShamir's interesting FreebieKingz 'blog entry Here where he lists a few alternative sites that could offer a better deal. I signed up to the first couple (Rewards1 and Swagbucks) and decided to have a pop at completing various surveys, which at first appear to be a very easy way to earn points for redemption. Several survey attempts later though, and I'm still not off the starting blocks at Rewards1...Apparently, I "wasn't elegible" to participate in any of the several surveys that I was routed through. A good mention has to go to SwagBucks though: They use their own survey engine which serves surveys based on the user's personal profile, which means that you'll only get offered surveys that you have a chance of completing along with a percentage estimate of success. Anyhow...Going back to the Rewards1 surveys for a moment: I spent a good 30-45 minutes trying to complete surveys - Providing valuable demographic data in the process - Only to get fobbed off with the same "We're sorry...You didn't qualify to complete this survey" message every time. That said, I know that the demographic data I'd submitted in these surveys up to that point won't be disposed of and will be equally as useful to the surveyor as a full "elegible" survey...So I can't be asking too much when I say that a half credit for partial completion would be in order? My experiences this evening are leading me to believe that a lot of the survey sites might be nearly as bad as Lockerz, given it's possible for them to lead users right up to the final question and "fail" them there to prevent paying out for the users time...Some might even be out and out scams. Has anyone ever had a successful time with survey systems in recent months, and have they ever managed to make a worthwhile return out of them for the time/effort invested? Farewell for now, and looking forward to reading other's opinions! +++ DieselDragon +++ |

| iPod Nano 4GB | you brought up an excellent point.. it's better to shop, complete offers, etc... answering surveys are the least rewarding.. I've had that same experience as well with another gpt network. I think it was points2shop if im not mistaken..

| iPod Nano 4GB | However, i will add. What does make (most) GPT networks more rewarding than lockerz is the fact that the the prizes available for redemption are always THERE. If you have the points, you can redeem. Lockerz, you can have points, but you're extremely lucky if you get to use them. Another thing is that you have the ability to earn credits off of your personal referrals activity. Which means, you don't always have to be active to receive credits. If you sign up 20 active referrals, you'll be making atleast 5 dollars a day without doing anything. Now with lockerz, many users have invited hundreds of people to join but do not receive any residual credits. So it's safe to say, in my opinion, lockerz is still the worse. However, the easiest ways to collect points and the fastest ways to receive your gifts is through, referrals and or completing offers, shopping etc... surveys and lockerz, sucks! lol..

![]() | globaltestmarket.com is legit. It doesn't have hundreds of surveys but depending on where you live and your profile details, you can get two or three surveys sent to you a week which usually pay $1.50 each. It takes longer to cash out as you only get a couple surveys each week but I'd rather do a few high paying surveys each week than sign up to some bull**** offer on one of those points sites that only pay 10 cents and result in my inbox being spammed constantly. Another quality site that has several surveys and everyone who uses it says its excellent is ..... I personally never use it because it has very few surveys that are available to new zealanders, but if it caters to the UK (its a US site but it may have a lot of UK surveys, I don't know) then you can make quite a few bucks from it each day, and most of them aren't stupid sign up for free offers then get email spam. I advise you to check them both. They are both a lot better than those fail points websites. Last edited by arcticfox; 25-11-10 at 03:02 PM.. |

![]() | Yep, got $50 from them once, but that was also when they did the 5 points if you screen out thing. Now if your screened out you only get entered into the drawing.. guess i shouldn't be complaining though, they are paying me.. ill check out treasuretrooper though, sounds interesting. thanks! |

![]() | Well I am sorry for posting it but I don't see why you have to get so excited about it. I know idiots who are like hey guys please go green for me I want an ipod heres my link are annoying, but I am actually giving helpful information and not giving an unbiased review just so I can get referals. In this case my posting it was harmless as I would have recomended the site even if I didn't have a referal link. Yeah it's against the rules and I am sorry but it hasn't really hurt this thread at all, so I don't see why you are attacking it so much. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | This thread is like an essay so i haven't bothered to read any of the long posts.. But from the pol: My experience with survey siyes has been nothing but a waste of time and i've not tried lockerz but the rep/posts i've seen of the site is pretty poor.

![]() ![]() | When this forum says referral links, it means referral links. Not "Go green for me" links. If you would have recommended the site without a referral link then you should have done so. It's up to a mod to change it now as there's nothing we can do to change it ourselves. Lockerz is looong! Swagbucks works alright when you search... I used to use it before and got an iPhone case (even though I didn't have an iPhone at the time). My lil bro uses it now and has got quite a few £5 Amazon Vouchers. |

![]() | Sawgbucks is a legitamite service. I recived a £5 amazon voucher from them in the past. It is also very easy to get a bot to do all the searches for you on swagbucks. Last edited by Nero; 25-11-10 at 06:09 AM.. |

![]() | With swagbucks, I think earning points are great and fun, but there is hardly anything to redeem for anyone outside the US! There only things there is are a few wallpapers and a couple gift cards. All I think I would get is either a £5 Amazon e-voucher or a $5 Paypal money. They're the only two that are any good. Shame, because there are tons or amazing stuff for people in the US. |

| Mini Mac | what a bump you have made But anyway since we're talking about SwagBucks, I would like to know - what is the chance of you winning any of their little competitions? |

I've got to say that Points2Shop has certainly pulled through well for me, and I've received about £20 from SwagBucks, but I didn't do any actual work. | |
