Yes that is true no matter how much Jobs in his keynote speeches says its about the customer it isnt, at the end of the day its about profits and how much power they can retain over their intellectual property. I think its hypocritical of those who complain about this though anyone would do the same thing if they were Jobs.

If the video is as good as the iphone 4 its deffo worth upgrading to the new touch.
Id get the 32GB version though as it soon filled my 16GB iphone on holiday.

Not even close! Apple marketing techniques are far more complicated.
Upgrading is definitely necessary for the products but things they 'forget' are mostly price related according to analysts. (See how the iPod shuffle and nano haven't changed their prices over the several past years

).

Some say that Apple (and Google btw) is like an ice burg... the big part is hidden and all we see is what they want us to see.

I like the new iPod, especially the fact that it has a camera, the number of times I have seen a cool car or something interesting and I didn't have my camera with me -_-

It does have a camera its on the front and the back. You also can record videos in HD.
