Yes I have used them. I use them to hire content writers, very cheap. Basically you post a project and people make you offers. Have a look at the other backlink projects to get an idea.

I'm not too sure what to pay for 100 links, I would have a look at the other projects. Payment is in USD.

The only thing I would say if you're going to pay for backlinks is if it's for a very competitive keyword it won't be great as a one-off. You need to be building backlinks every month.

The minimum amount for a project on freelancer is $30, so my advice would be to see how many backlinks that you can get for the $30... then do it monthly, or however often you can afford $30.

One opther thing to make sure of though is the quality of the back links. You don't want your freemacbookpro links on sites that aren't related. Targetted traffic is the best traffic.

True that!

Here's my example of that: fan page 1: 4,000 members, directed at a product, several hundred reds with quite a lot gone green or pending about (20+).
2: 114,000 members, general funny page, quite a lot of reds, 1 green 1 pending!

So direct is better.

Thanks to corky there, I'll have a better look on Monday when I'm back on the computer.

There are many affiliate marketing forums with people offering SEO and Backlinking services, I suggest you seek these people out as other users on the forum will give you feedback before you purchase their service.

i just payed $35 approx £25 for 120 backlinks from the angela's and paul's backlinks thing corky put up here dont know if it will work but for 25 smackers its worth a go.

All i'll say is you get what you pay for. I get spam on some forums I host and blogs I have. They are probably the same sort of backlinks being sold here.

Absolute waste of time.
Google discounts directories now, search engine submission to thousands of search engines is also a waste of time, Google Bing and Yahoo are the 3 main search engines anything else isn't worth a thing.
