| They are becoming redundant, nowadays everyone seems to have a card machine and online banking is making it easier to transfer large sums of money to other people. |

| FreebieJeebies do send out cheques I believe, (I've seen many people have them) and as far as cheques being redundant, the NHS uses cheques as a deposit incase staff don't return parking permits. That's around 2000 cheques just in my trust, so goodness knows how many cheques are used by the NHS all over the country.
