hello
i managed to get one of those free domains from gandi, only problem is im having trouble transfering to another host i keep getting the following message

Your domain is not yet pointing our server, so services such as FTP, Website Builder or File Manager may not work. You need to update nameservers to ns01.000webhost.com, ns02.000webhost.com for your domain. This warning will be removed once your domain will start resolving to our server (24-48 hours after nameserver update)

dont have a clue how to do this help please

hi, i also got a domain from here danielmcfarland.co.uk.
you need to go to "https://www.gandi.net/admin/domain" and select your domain with the little lock and click it to allow tranferral. then go back and click on the website. scroll down until you see name servers and click modify DNS info. then in there delete the gandi.net ones and enter in the first box: ns01.000webhost.com and the second box: ns02.000webhost.com

hope it works, if it doesnt ask again, let me know of the domain when you get it complete.

i recommend you install wordpress and set everything up in the pages, and a blog with how you are getting on in the process of your freebie hunting.
