two things.
dont think it'll take that long.
secondly, the longer you wait, the higher the chance of people trying to cheat/act fraudunatly/ be put on hold etc...

either way, whats the difference between 10 payments of £17 and one of £170 ???? if you knwo what i mean...

Ye I have quite often thought this, It is nice to get big sums but it is better just to get the money in your hand and then nothing can go wrong!

The only real difference is the kudos of seeing huge amounts posted but that isn't top of my list.

You are totally right with the other comments though, the sooner you cash in, the less chance there is of an offer revoking or going on hold. Beyond that, letting a huge balance mount up comes with a risk, as anyone who used GA or others would know.

I'm happy to cash in as much as I can as soon as I can, the thing that holds it up these days is the LF reporting!

Also better for cash flow to have a regular £1k-£2k etc per month than that one big £15k-£20 a year.

Just curious, if you earn a certain amount from FJ, do you have to pay tax on your earnings?

I know that Furbs does declare it as an income. If you are taking cash then although it is a 'gift' it could still fall foul of the taxman.

As humbling as it is to be singled out for my success, I'd really prefer to slip into the background and just be treated like everyone else.

Being singled out with the "furbs this and that.." posts must surely get annoying for others to read?

I don't think it's a bad thing as it may inspire some people.

I think the only way you could "slip into the background" is to do what Arcrtic did a while ago and not post in th IGMFI section and remove status banners.

Surely you must get fed up with people going on about things in generally though. I am just the same as everyone else here, certainly not a "legend" or "god"!

Which is exactly what gives myself, and others I imagine, a lot of the drive and motivation to work hard. If you were a "legend" or "god", then it'd be pointless striving towards your success, however you are simply intelligent and very hard working!

Re: A question for MR FURBZ

Steve's the inspiration keeping me going! If it wasn't for his generosity I wouldn't have the Wii and without his success I wouldn't ever of thought it possible to get an iMac!

I must just say it's not just Furbs, it's ayo, arctic and several others too!

I think I find it alot easier to ignore posts/threads than some others. If something doesn't interest me I wont read it.

I imagine it would be harder on you. I wouldn't like people singling me out constantly in a forum. Would I be correct in assuming you also get alot of people hassling you for various reasons?
