pspupgrade is a jewel in the rough
Make the header image about 100-150px wider and it should be fixed.

OK, in that case, it's probably in the CSS code. How much of the site have you changed apart from the header image?

No mate its not ..

Once you remove the image from the folder then he wont have that problem..All he would have to do is move some of the content down

This code should do the trick

fyi, on the ghd site add the code border="0" to the main image then you won't have that blue bored which doesn't look good

Very nice looking sites though!

But just by removing the image from the folder, it will not fix the issue properly, the code referring to that image will still be there, you need to see what the name of the image is then search the page source code and delete that too, alternatively, if you just want a white bg, open the image and fill it in white

Why don't you just make the banner according to the size of the gray space, not bigger than it.

You wanna build the template around the site design not the other way around.

Better to have the site looking the way you want it rather than it forcing you to look a certain way.

A far more efficient way of doing this is to put the following in your stylesheet:

img
{ border-style: none;
}

It will remove all borders on all image links.

Thanks! Will do this myself

I'm rubbish at CSS so tend to leave well alone!

I used to think that but I am gradually swinging over to using it a lot more. Trust me, it is so much cleaner, more efficient, and easier than doing stuff in your html file!

Also cleaner when reading, and I think but cannot confirm it's more SEO friendly to have a img{FOO FOO} rather than <img style="FOO FOO" />.

I shouldn't think it should make much of a difference SEO-wise either way. The only thing spiders pick up on is content and linkage... It is generally considered the better way to do things though, and I imagine it will result in ever so slightly faster pageload times.
