Best free host?

Ive been searching for a free host for a while now and was hoping some ogf you would be able to reccommend some. The only requirements I have are a good amount of bandwidth and preferrably the possibility of subdomains. Thanks

You don't have to transfer your domain to the hosting company to host with them, you can just plug DNS information into the domain website to point it to the servers of the hosting website.

You need to log in to the site that you bought your domain name from, and update the nameservers to point to the new host. So when you set up hosting with byet, the namerserver will be something like ns1.byethost.com.

These guys look quite good, I might give thme a try. I've got a few sites on 000webhost, but I'm not sure if they're all that fast.

I've used 000webhost before aswell... and they sometimes have problems with downtime and ftp logins... byethost is actually flawless! I'm surprised more people don't use them

Following this thread I was going to set up a host account with byethost, but they don't accept btinternet email addresses. What's with that? I'm not going to craete a gmail account just to sign up.

Cos I have an email I use for everything, and I don't want to have to create a new email just to sign up for something.

And I've tried gmail in the past and found a bit annoying.
