Emailing Reds!

I don't know how many people do this but I would urge everyone to do this. Since I started emailing new signups daily I have noticed a great increase in the number of signups who complete an offer. When I say daily I mean I check for any new signups and email them only, don't email people you have already emailed, you don't want to get reported for spamming.

All I send is a simple email as such:

"Hi. I'm Philip, the owner of www. xyz .co.uk

I would just like to say thank you for signing up through our site to get your Free X.

You are now one step closer to getting your X for FREE.

Before you can get your Free X you must complete an offer. There are many to choose from but I advise the Lovefilm or Intuit offers because they are both free trials.

To complete an offer go here

Thanks again for your time.

Then email your new signups using a Gmail account!

I've tired and never had any luck. Might give it another go!

Ok it might be coincidence but to give you the facts I started emailing reds about 3 days ago. I check each day and if there are any new referrals I email them with that template.

So since I started emailing reds 3 days ago I have had:
23 reds, 5 pending and 1 complete - 26% ratio

Before that when I wasn't emailing them I had:
216 reds, 1 pending and 10 complete - 5% ratio

Might just have got lucky recently but it looks to have made a difference.

I am getting a couple of signups a day from my psp site, but no greenage yet.

And even though I am sending them to gifts they are actually selecting psp's as their gift.

I thought that using 'FREE' put the email in spam?

I never had any luck, but doing this within few days of sign-up would help as you say.

I think all are ending as spam. Any suggestions on how to make the email get past the spam filter?

well, i send from an @live.co.uk

and put "Your Recent Signup" as the subject... i have tested it and it doesnt come out as spam then

Another tip would be to make an email address other than Gmail if you have a domain such as

Code:

admin@yourwebsite.com

this way it makes your email seem even more official. If you don't own a domain for your website then I'd recommend Gmail over Hotmail!

I tend to put "Regarding your Registration" sometimes I add "with L-F-G" (my website)
