How to deal with being called a scammer.

Ok, i've plunged headfirst into the freebie world, and right away i've found that some people just don't like us. They think we're scammers, spammers, identity theives, really any and all bad things. I am wondering what some people's ideas are of how to deal with these people that refuse to believe that the freebie networks are legitimate. Any suggestions?:

If it's online, don't bother, there are so many that think this is all a scam that you'd be wasting your time.

If your friends or people you know are the ones saying that, ask them where the scam is. This shut most of my mates that said it was a scam. The simple fact is, those calling it a scam don't even know how it works.

The funny thing about it is, the ones that think it's a scam are missing out on free stuff, so really they've scammed themselves.

fosking is on a distinguished road
I get this EVERY day.
You will especially get this if you say about getting something free. They expect to just click on your link and boom, their iPhone or MacBook is in the post.

unfortunatly this is the way it goes, people either think that there just gunna click on something and an ipod will arrive at there front door without them doing anything, or that you a hacker and your draining there bank account. It's very frustrating but theres always some that will sign up

I get this all the time from yellows I email, if its just a general "scammer" email i just add to **** list and forget about it. if they are abusive then they get the full blown, treatment, those who have ever tried submitting your domain to a "domain submitter" will know what I mean.

if its face to face and they ask oh were u get ur iphone etc ill tell em then if they say bolloks etc i just say, well you go pay for one then makes no dif to me mine was free :P

Some people are just too shallow minded to accept that maybe this could work.

I showed a friend of mine the BBC video, the NBC one, the 'I Got My Free Item' forum, sat him down and explained it to him, and all he could say was either "it's a scam" or "oh yeah, and all that happens is you get loads of spam". Even when I explain to him (and even show him my inbox) he still can't accept that a) it's legit and b) you don't get spam

tbh, I wouldn't waste my time on people like this.

I get the exact same thing. All I say is "ok I'll help you get your iphone if you sign up under me and complete an offer". 2 birds with 1 stone.
