buying ads in magazines ect

Well, i heard that one of the most rewarding ways to get greens is buy buying an add space in a magazine. I'm really debating with myself about what magazine to by a space for. Then I saw this video saying that you get most of your green from Europe, especially in the U.K. and advertising in the U.S. is almost useless. So i was wondering if anyone at exceem knows about this subject, or where is the best magazine to buy an add for, thanks.

Which video was it that you saw, I didn't think many talked about incentive sites?
I guess it would be best to get some pricings in the tech mags, big names like Stuff magazine are full of ads.
(Love your signature by the way )

I would do some research into how much a particular size ad would cost over a spread of UK and US magazines, then you could see what you are willing to spend.

I know of someone who's tried this, spent a lot of money, and didn't get a single signup.

To be fair when i have bought a magazine i never look at ads unless, its one which takes up the whole page and is in colour! When i see adds i skip them, so chiggles is probably right!

If your looking for ads you will more likely look at the freeads, i tried this and still got no signups!

Well, it really depends what he did with the add, obviously if it was boring and lame then, no sign ups..
