A referal wants my phone number!

I had an email from a guy (I presume) asking questions (US) about FreebieJeebies. Thought great, fine, emailed him back. Now he wants my phone number to talk things over. Now I'm in the UK and would never give out my phone number, how do I know who he is?

Oh well, probably just lost a referal by refusing, but I'm not giving out my phone number.

Anyone had anything like this?

you could get a free sim card off the internet and use that?

only ever had people add me on msn never ask for phone

Or get a free simcard and get them to call that! Ten if they turn out to be a weirdo then, throw it away!

I stopped all this customer support malarky ages ago, I was sick of explaining to people what the requirements were for them to turn round and say "I dont have a cc im only 9" etc.
too many muppets asking too many questions, just let them figure it out if they cant so what hasnt done my green count any harm.

im kinda with harvez , i dont email or contact my refs anymore , though if one was to contact me i would reply i guess however if you dont get many refs its hard not to give support to your refs as you want the green .

seems a bit far fetched to me needing to phone someone , if you are that bothered cant you use msn and chat to them them , you can always block after .

I'd go with the spare sim option.
Help the 'person' and then you have no more ties to them, tell them that this is a throwaway sim and bid them goodbye, good luck..

If he/she starts to get weird you can always play with them and have a lil fun.

i have a lot of calls from referrals and guess what ? my first green was the first one that called me

Personally i think thats just luck. A lot of pervers in the world, i would try anything. Like alot of other people i would offer my msn at the most. Since its almost like talking over the phone.
