I hate freewebs/webs - they offer no real easy flexibility, unless you are willing to pay for it.

You could go get a hosting account (free) at Free Web Hosting with PHP, MySQL and cPanel, No Ads
You can buy a cheap domain at 1and1.co.uk
You can then edit your site with a program like dreamweaver, or a free version - such as nvu. (Nvu - Free software downloads and reviews - CNET Download.com)

You link your domain up to your hosting account by changing the domain nameservers (Or DNS) and you upload the webpages you create in nvu/dreamweaver to the hosting account.

This website helped me alot when I made my first website

Wow, that sounds similar...

You just copied and pasted my post from another thread, which I can live with - but you didn't include the links, which are the most important bit of the post!

Here's the original post (with the links )

I hate freewebs/webs - they offer no real easy flexibility, unless you are willing to pay for it.

You could go get a hosting account (free) at Free Web Hosting with PHP, MySQL and cPanel, No Ads
You can buy a cheap domain at Browser Update Page (Only about £5-£6 for 2 Years)
You can then edit your site with a program like dreamweaver, or a free version - such as nvu. (Nvu - Free software downloads and reviews - CNET Download.com)

You link your domain up to your hosting account by changing the domain nameservers (Or DNS) and you upload the webpages you create in nvu/dreamweaver to the hosting account.
