Some people have said to me that when you build a new site you should do something with the html codes to make it search engine friendly , whats that mean ? Any information on how seo works , how to start it , good tools to use or anything else useful will be much apprecaited . thanks .

Re: setting up a new website

Making a website can be extremely cheap

Take my website for example:

My Domain cost me £6 for two years

and my hosting is free on 000webhost.com

If you know html then it is rather easy to build a website, if not then you should get a template and try and build it from that.
Some websites do provide a website creator free with their hosting such as moonfruit and you can transfer your domain over to them.

Only downside to that is that it is hard if not impossible to add any meta tags to moonfruit websites as they are all flash based.

Basically you should try and learn html coding before you learn any SEO.
