Offers like Coral and VC Bet can be done for free...

Has anyone encountered the world of "matched betting"?

Basically it enables offers that use gambling sites like Coral where you have to sign up and deposit a fiver to be done for free.

In fact, you can actually profit from these offers, for example with Coral, when you sign up and put in your fiver they give you a free £10 bet dont they, so in total, you have £15 to bet with.

Simply place all the £15 on something like Man U to win then open an account with an exchange such as Betfair and bet against Man U winning.
Then whatever happens.....you win!

If you google "Matched betting" it will show what i mean!

A good way to turn the "not free" offers into free ones if nothing else!

What if man utd lose though? (god forbid) - there's no guarentee that the bet would be free so although chances are you could profit, you shouldn't tell all of your referrals that it could be a free offer to complete just incase :S

not really. if the odds are all different you'll win different amounts. even if you adjust them so that you're guaranteed to win the same amount with each bet, you'll still always make a slight loss. There'll only be a few cases where you can guarantee making a profit.

oh right yeh sorry didn't read your post properly for some reason

all that about signing up with someone like betfair for the exchange betting is all good but it's kinda long winded

would be much better if you just bet on a snooker or tennis match, that way there are only wins, no draws, so 100% chance of winning without doing all that betfair stuff

btw, betfair is also an offer on some sites

why not go to the casino and bet £7.50 on red and £7.50 on black? ok, you risk hitting a 0, but pfft, far better odds!

Re: Offers like Coral and VC Bet can be done for free...

if you deposit £5 to coral..they will only give you a £5 free bet
its a 100% signup bonus up to a maximum of £10

either way, what you are trying to say kind of works but only because you get a free bet
if you deposit £5, you get your free £5
wager half on one outcome and the other half on the opposite
in the end you will get about £8 (making a total loss of £2), but because you got a free bet is a profit of £3

yea quite a lot of people do it, theres a whole section on moneysavingexpert i do believe.

I used to do casino bonus bagging, where you wagger a said amount like $1000 and you get a bonus of say $50, then all you do is withdraw and run lol.

However its extremely hard to do now as most casinos have up'd there wagering amount to stupid amounts to unlock a measly bonus

Re: Offers like Coral and VC Bet can be done for free...

most site have rules about the 'free' funds they give you. pacific poker is something like they match your first deposit but what they match cant be withdrawn until you have wagerd 25 times the deposit amount.

Thats what i dont get surly coral will operate a similar thing so if you bet £5 and they give you £10 you aint getting that back straight away, the £5 yeah but not the £10 coral them self say "The free bet stake can not be withdrawn at any time." So any profit you did make i dunno what the deal would be with the withdrawl

I did that with Betfair, turned £50 into £140. Put £40 on red and lost that lol. Luckily took the other £100. Took bloody ages though, so boring!

I don't get any of this gambling and betting things.
I want to do the coral offer though can someone please explain to me how that works?
Or what other offer is better than coral, like not a complicated one, 1 point added to your account almost instantly?
thanks

Mylotto24 is normally a very instant crediting offer.

You just sign up and then deposit £5 and play it all through. I actually havent done the offer but it seems easy enough?

I did the GalaBingo offer which was very very easy and it added the point to my account immediately.

You just sign up, transfer £5 and buy some bingo tickets for the online games, then you just sit back and watch it play and it auto marks your bingo cards. When I spent the £5 they gave me an extra £10 for being a new customer. I played 3 or 4 games overall and ended up winning 3 times taking away £35 profit.

You can only do either the GalaBingo offer OR Coral though as it's the same company.

There are heaps of bookmakers who offer sign up bonuses of different amounts. The best sign up bonus I have got from one bookmaker so far has been £160 from BetCRIS - if I had more money available I could have got more. I am saving up now to take advantage of other offers from other sites in the CRIS group of bookmakers. You can see a thorough list of all of the bonuses on offer from all of the major bookmakers here: bookmaker bonuses

Domel9 linked to Sports Arbitrage Guide above. That really goes into more detail on the finer aspects of pure sports arbitrage trading - which is making a profit on odds without needing the bonus money. There is an article there about matched betting too if you want to get more information on how it works: Matched Betting Easy Profits

Actually, that guarantees a definite neutral result, with a 1/37 chance of losing everything. Horrible idea.

They all have their complications. The bookmakers don't want anyone abusing the offer - but once you know the rules, just play by them and the money is pretty easy.

If you want really easy ones, then you want to take the free bets which are SNR - Stake not Refunded, and have no rollover requirement. They are the easiest to use (as long as you understand what is going on).
