The problem now though is people attacking me because I stated that a promise made twice was not kept, so thank you, it's very gracious of you and I mean that, but I'm fine. I just hope people will understand in hindsight that I am not at fault; I have remained calm, taken all the beatings, and still remained headstrong in keeping the message that a promise is a promise (especially when that promise is made twice) and this promise was broken which is unprofessional, hurtful and rude.

you remind me of someone from ages ago (mrmaybs), he was paranoid also. The point is that you should have conducted this in private and not post it on here. If I could be bothered, I'm sure I could find threads by people who didnt get the amounts that they thought they would but dont cause the same kind of fuss.

personally, I have had promises from owners when I have asked for cash equivalents but by the time the payment arrives, its not what was promised because the items value has maybe changed.

Many members got £400 vouchers from freepay instead of PS3s but when mine came it was £240 and thats what people get now. We were peed off but didnt feel cheated.

If lee could see a week ahead for exchange rates, that boy would be rich (maybe he already is though).

people are "attacking you" not because of any broken promisses, it's your whole attitude at being peed off at "only" getting $989 vouchers when most people would be ecstatic at getting that amount, even if they were told they would get $11 more. No one on exceem has really had a bad word to say about Kudos so you cant blame people for having a go at you.

And from my posts you can see I have nothing but praise for Kudos on other aspects and have recommended him to many people.

But you and others keep on bringing up this prediction of the exchange rate so let me say what your idea is and then state the truth:

1. Your idea that we had made an arrangement but obviously the exchange rate changed. When the agreement was made £500=$980. When the agreement was made £500 was $990. It's better for him. Win-win.

Now the truth:

2. The deal was made for $1000 regardless of the exchange rate (obviously if we suddenly had something equivalent to the Wall Street crash things would've been different). Once again I shall state the key word: regardless. I was supposed to get that money no matter what and was asked to remind which I did and got confirmation from him. I have all the PMs to prove it.


Now if people are willing to admit that he made a mistake, not me, then this issue can finally slide, because I do want to try out for more gifts but not until people realize that keeping one's word is important and it is the person who negates on the deal who is at fault, not the other party.

As stated in a previous reply he didn't respond to PMs and only replied in Support when this topic became hot. I should also add that the first mention of this was just informing him, not attacking.

By the way you can call it shameless but I call it standing up for what is right. My hero growing up was Atticus Finch from 'To Kill A Mockingbird' and his plight was far greater. I am simply fighting to have my name cleared of a small matter like this and the shameless action would be to run away with my tail between my legs when people get angry.

This is a issue between you and kudos network, so id suggest sticking to their support system if you feel there are any outstanding issues.

It is also obvious that some members have formed their opinion of this is a "real issue" or not, as have you, it is also obvious that neither yourself of the members are going to change that opinion, and on that basis I am closing this thread, rather than watch it go on for page after page after page of arguing.

On a side note, you taking into account customs fee's with the transatlantic shipping when the parcel enters the UK ?
