![]() | Point SitesI was wondering if someone could let me pick their brains. I've seen talk on the forum about point based freebie sites. Are they all DIY? If not, then what do you get points for (referals?) and how many points per freebie. If yes, then what kind of offers are there, and how do points vary between offers? Is the whole thing similar in gifts/offers to regular referal sites? (as in, is a console still approximately 8-12 offers?) Thanks in advance for any help I look forward to a response. |

points sites do tend to be DIY although if you use a site like points.kudos then you earn about 21% of the points that your referrals earn too, so it's a good idea to get one or two referrals whilst doing your own offers just to boost you points abit. In regards to how many points per freebie - that depends on what site you use. On kudos it works out that every 1000 points is worth £9-£10, but if you want a bank transfer then it is £9 per 1000 points. There are various offer available on points sites, like the ordinary site. However, there is also the addition of mobile offers which are good too. Offers range from rewarding you approximately 100-2500 points for completion, it just depends what the offer is. However, by doing points sites it is very unlikely that you will get a console for about 8-12 offers, although it is possible. If you do mobile offers then you won't get near this figure, but if you do dvd rentals and gambling offers etc. then it is very possible that you could get a consoles quickly. I have earnt plenty of points on kudos, so if you want any more info then just pm me and i will be willing to help. p.s don't forget the thanks button lol.

![]() | Re: Point SitesThanks A couple more questions: Are there many gambling offers? or just the usual? When you say mobile offers, what exactly do you have to do for these offers? (ive seen them talked about, but i havent come across it personally yet) I think what is most likely to happen is that i will trade my points-virginity for a green on my ps3giveaway. So look out for this in the trade section (when i get access, which will be a couple days yet) |

an ipod shuffle 1 GB is 3,200 points. and also, i think people shouldnt be "newbie touting" let them make their own minds up who they sign up for. or even let them set up a trade to get paid to join points.kudos myrazorblad. | |

In response to one of the above questions: i think you will find it extremely difficult to trade your points referral for a proper referral on ps3.giveaway. A normal referral is worth about £17, whereas on a points site you only earn that person a percentage of the points you earn. So if you never earn points, then the other person never gains anything from having you as a referral. but by all means give it ago. You may get someone who wants to trade with you.

![]() | Re: Point SitesThanks for that list, myrazorblad, certainly lots of stuff to choose from. and i guess you are right robbo, id certainly have to use my points account up to a certain point to make it worthwhile for the other person (although i am interested in using a points account after im done with my ps3giveaway so are other sites similar to kudos for points? (numbers-wise?) or can anybody point me in a direction similar to the list myrazaorblad posted (but for other sites of course) |
