![]() | My website has taken a diveHi, I have a small query...last week my website was "suspended" and went offline for around 24 hours. If you went to any of my pages it said "this website has been suspended". It was a big mistake by the part of my hosting company, however since then my website has taken a major dive down the google rankings. The only other change I have made is add a sitemap but I thought that would only help my site? Could the fact the site was down and "suspended" have somehow tarnished my google ranking? Or should this somehow rectify itself once it has been crawled a few times?

![]() | Re: My website has taken a diveI am not sure about the suspended page having an effect (personally I don't think so, in less google was crawling your site at that time, but then in google your description would be suspended page) Recently Google has been moving sites up and down a awful lot, maybe they are updating, the same way in which they update the page rank every now and then. In fact, im in a similar situation but im hopefully putting it down to google updating and maybe put me back at my previous google position later on, fingers crossed.
