+note to ipod touch users- To unjailbreak your ipod, just have to restore your ipod, to the origional factory settings.

I'm jailbreaking my ipod using this video as a guide. everything is fine until i am on ms-dos part, where i am told to put my ip address in. it is then saying connection refused and exits! sorry to bump an old thread but what do i do now?

i did mine lastnight, never asked for my ip in dos.
the dos section was only when i had downgraded and used jailbreak re-upgraded then used the app the jailbreak 1.1.2 this took about 5 mins in dos while it reads and re-writes the flash.
Jailbreak 1.1.2 - Touchdev

follow that step by step and u will be sorted

install the stumbler, this will sniff out any open access points
i-radio is also quiet good.

guys, just go on safari on ur ipod and go to jailbreakme.com make sure you downgrade to ur software v 1.1.1 first though.
