Referral placed on hold.

Can anyone help with this? I have a referral which has just recently been placed on hold. I have spoken with the guy who I referred and he promises me he has completed the offer correctly (I have seen screen shots), I have even seen a screen shot of his status screen which shows 'offer completed'.

Now, it just so happens that this was the last green I needed to get my free PS 3 (ten needed). Is this just a coincidence? It's all very strange as the offer was apparently completed on Sunday (I know they say 5days but I have always found that they are credited very quickly), but nothing came through. The next day a completely unrelated green (had been there for some weeks) dissapeared.

So I logged a ticket, I got a response saying that I had ten greens!! I looked at my account, and there were now 9 and the green which dropped off was now at the bottom of my list. The last referral I made has now been placed on hold.

Am I better off forgetting this on hold referral and trying to get another? I'd just like to know why it was placed on hold as I have not done anything wrong (as far as I know) and the trade was done in good faith by myself.

Cheers

Re: Referral placed on hold.

Wow that's complicated and I'm not sure I understand

What I can tell you, though, is (re your first paragraph) users being put on hold is usually because they have broken the network's Terms & Conditions, not because they have completed an offer incorrectly. If an offer is not completed correctly, the offer status would change to 'revoked.'

Hope that helps in part!

Re: Referral placed on hold.

yeah, it is complicated! My fault for detailing two seperate issues that opped up at roughly the same time.

I'll probably just forget this one and try and get another referral. The on hold referral was a trade on here so if it turns out the T&C's were broken the guy might be getting some negative feedback heading his way.

We'll see though.
