Tickle Tests and the survival of the freebie world!

Was just thinking about it and remember the day Tickle Tests were taken away? We all thought that was the end of our freebies, but if anything its got better, and even the offers have got improved!

For the newer members, tickle test were offers on most sites, where you had to fill out some information and pay for the 'results', and these used to cost if I remember rightly £3, £6, and £9. However there were loooooads of diferent tests, and you could re-do the offers twice a week or something. Trading worked a treat back then.

The offers can only get better as the freebie industry grows. An example is the introduction of 'which?' recently.

Ahhhhh, I remember the Tickle Test days alright!

I thought I was doomed but that's when trading needed to be done to get refs. They did help for some sites though.

LOL you freebie kids who think the tickle tests were the good old days, that was like only a few months ago. I remember the $20 bingo offers, they were good especially on freegadgets4me. Hell I even remember when freepay was called gratis, and when freeipods was still american only.

i suppose if you didn't want the hosting account afterwards, you might be able to sell it on ebay.

Is this a separate offer on the webhosting company's site?

How much did it cost for a year? Might be finding a site to sign up to in the near future!!

£50 odd inc VAT. The games are a special promotion from FastHosts for anyone signing up for a years windows shared hosting. They aren't the best games but they can go on ebay if need be. Think it was PGR and Perfect Dark Zero.
