| blah blah blah | A thread just for users websites???After all the recent "rate my website" threads that get opened then closed, wouldnt it be an idea to have all these posts in one section that people could use JUST to post their website and ask advice etc? Or, one thread that only a Mod could post/amend which would list any users sites (after being checked by the mods obviously) so that anyone interested would be able to use it? People like me can learn from them. I'm not a brain surgeon when it comes to making websites but then again I'm not a feckin eedjit either All this talk of coding and masking etc etc just baffles me. I just did a basic but effective site using hints and tips from others.

I thought you could have an URL to your web site with your ref links on so long as you didn't post your ref link directly on exceem & so long as there was a link directly back to exceem - it actually doesn't seem that unreasonable to me. If you click a link to someone's web site when you are on exceem, I would kinda expect to find their own ref links on their own site (even if they are asking for advice). For instance, if a query is directly related to links (do they work?) then it'll be necessary to leave them in place (I would imagine)

![]() | Re: A thread just for users websites???^ yeah you can do that BUT you can't make a thread asking to rate your website, you can put it in your sig. That's all. Oh yeah, your website has to have a link back to eXceem on it. |

They're for absolute novices, hence the title '...for Dummies'. I learnt to build PCs from scratch from reading a few of them. |

...Sorry, that's what I meant... but I agree with Web site 'Workshop' Thread idea rather than the 'sneakily promote my web site here' Thread.
