Can anyone give me some advice?

My girlfriend signed up to a giveaway site using my laptop at my house when she was visiting (she lives about 100 miles away). She was about to sign to an offer to credit my aco**** when I thought it maight be a bit dodgy because it was from the same computer as I used to sign up.

Do you think this will cause a problem when it comes to verification?

You will be put on hold at verification, i receomned you send in a support ticket explaining the situation.

I don't think there is any problem about signing up using the same computer depending on what site it was. most sites ignore the ip address now as so many are identical due to location. But there would be a problem with completing an offer on the same computer. You would be classed as walking her through too. She best do the offer from her own pc at home.

my friend has internet but no computer at the moment. if i took my laptop round to his house for him to complete an offer, would this be a problem?
i dont understand how ip addresses work.

it should be ok as my gilfriend has internet but no computer so i took my laptop arond her house sign up and do an offer and it went through ok.

I can't see how it would be okay, freebiesites work using cookies, if you have the same cookies when taking the computer to another house it wouldn't work i would of imagined. Even if you cleared your cache.

they track the offers through cookies, and if one computer has the same cookies... they WILL find out!

As long as you sign up and have a unique address it doesnt matter where you complete the offer.

I imagine so, for both the sign up and offer completion it needs to be the same computer. As it's all in the browser and IP address.

In most cases yes, but its better to send in a support ticket before you even think about sharing anything when completing freebie sites

That is not 100% true, as I said above, the only true way to find out is to send in a support ticket with your exact circumstances and explain the situation in that ticket, and await for the reply before doing anything.

Going ahead and sharing things could well land both accounts on hold.
