I saw that tomorrow at 9 o'clock, 4/5 terrestrial channels are showing reality tv. How depressing.

| Super Moderator | Anyone know how long ITV take to put their shows on ITV player? I haven't got a tv licence so can't watch it live, only part 1 is up so far and I want to watch the whole thing in full because i'm fussy

| Super Moderator | I didn't think so either. Apparently talking to other students it's any live TV, I don't mind not watching it live.

| What to put... | You only have to have a TV license for BBC as it doesn't have adverts, this wasn't the reason originally but that's how it strands now. You need a license if you own a TV, doesn't matter if you don't even use it for TV.

also ryan, if you just use your tv to play games on, use it as a computer monitor or use it to play dvds or videos

| What to put... | "The licence fee is used almost entirely to fund the BBC's domestic radio, television and internet services. The money received from the fee represents approximately 75% of the cost of these services with most of the remainder coming from the profits of BBC Worldwide" Not all but the majority of it is for BBC. "A licence is not required, however, if you use your television only to watch DVDs or play video games, or you only watch programmes on your computer after they have been shown on TV." Got this mixed up, you don't need a TV license if that's what all you intend to use it for

| Super Moderator | ''This is the case whatever device you use – whether a laptop, PC, mobile phone, games console, digital box, VHS/DVD recorder or anything else. It also includes programmes you watch online at the same time as they’re being shown on TV, for example live sport. (However, if your mobile device isn’t plugged in, you’ll still be covered by your parents’ licence.)'' That's on the you need a tv license if... bit. It's any live TV being shown at that time. http://www.tvlicensing.co.uk/check-i...students-aud1/ Now... back on topic anyone watch it last night? Seems like it's the best bushtucker trial tonight with the eating challenge!!
