Music - what do you like

I have just been given a £50 iTunes voucher (hooray) but struggling to find some good music to get.

I'm into poppy stuff, things with a catch tune or old stuff but dont mind a bit of diversion from that i.e Rock, Dance really open to anything so any suggestions would be great, I keep playing the same album on the way to Uni and its starting to get boring.

What i find useful is to open spotify and view the top lists and listen to albums or singles that you think you might be interested in, you will be surprised what you find you like. Also you can view artsits that you currently like and use the related artists feature within spotify to find artists of a similar taste.

i'm very into the stuff most people hate.... sum 41, blink 182, green day, my chemical romance, ramones, clash, sex pistols etc etc

Hmm.. I'm personally an Alternative & R&B fan... Maybe you'll like some album from one of these bands or solo singers:
Linkin Park (A Thousand Suns and Meteora are their best albums IMO)
IYAZ (A newbie, but I think his songs are awesome! Check his songs out on YouTube)
Blue (A band which is now separated, but they still do perform sometimes. The famous "One Love" is sung by them.)
Owl City (All albums are good!
